Oh yes! It is a lion!

I suppose in fairness I can't really make a Lion King reference in the last post and not show any actual lions.

Given that I spent most of today up a ladder painting a ceiling, an activity that not even I will try to shoehorn into an anti-capitalist tirade (besides, it's been done before far better than I ever could), there is really nothing that I've done today that could top pictures of lions from this time last year.

Thus I present to you, photos of lions from the Serengeti to remind you how miserable winter in Dublin can be.

If you are chased by a lion do not climb a tree. Big cats love trees. They also love people who climb trees.

These two were part of a large pride just outside the entrance to the Serengeti National Park. They were with a large male, but he was asleep and hidden in the grass.
