Touching hands, reaching out

Been quietly working away on some tunes since getting back from Bratislava. Nothing worthwhile to report, but its basically been occupying most of my day. I've currently got my Tenori-on running through a Korg Mini-Kaoss Pad, and a Kaossilator on its own, both feeding into my old 1st gen Kaoss Mixer. I'm basically going for the whole touchy-feely thing at the moment, rather than old-school knob twiddling. While not the most glamourous set-up, I can reach everything easily while sitting down and still control Logic without having to stretch.

The older you get, the less you like having to stretch.

A note on the Tenori-on, great to use, but two design flaws have been bugging me:

1) All of the connectors (audio out, midi, power) are on the bottom. Now that I've been using it for a few months I really think they all should have been on the top, that way all the cables would be less in the way. Even if you lay it flat in front of you the wires end up pointing out towards you.

2) I'm not too impressed by the lack of dedicated L/R audio out, there's only room for a single mini-headphone sized jack - I'm sure that technically the sound is the same but its one more thing that makes it feel less like an instrument and more like a toy.
