Le Mur d'Ebauche

Went in to Pogo at Crawdaddy last night to see live sets from ebauche (left) and Sarsparilla. To say that it was an unusual choice of venue is a bit of an understatement - the look of bewilderment on the faces of most of the clubbers that turned a wrong corner and suddenly were confronted with live electronica was worth the admission alone (which was free, but that's a story for another day). But you know what, Crawdaddy really worked as a venue. The sound system was really clear, and that meant that the set from ebauche was probably the best I've heard from him in terms of sound quality. The room was small, but had a great atmosphere. I was talking to some of the Alphabet Set guys afterwards, and I really hope they try some more stuff there again.
